The setting is excellent (except the parking). The service was really very, very good. The food was also very good. Had the signature pancakes and the “Big Kahuna”. We almost did not come here because of Molly’s and James’s review. That would have been a huge mistake. This is just the type of resturant folks who visit Maui would enjoy! We visit every year and this was the first time to the Gazebo. We will be back very soon! A must eat here place.

We stayed at the Napili Surf complex right next door to the Gazebo, and were happy to wait in line for 30 minutes (on some days) to get into this little slice of paradise. If you aren’t in the mood to wait, try coming a little later in the day, between noon and 2PM. We walked in and sat down a couple of times when we tried around lunch.

Due to proximity, we ate here several times over the course of our stay. We tried several things on the menu (the different varieties of pancakes, club sandwich, burgers) and everything was super. The breakfast burrito was one of my favorites, it is AWESOME.

The prices are also very reasonable. Our bill for two (with extra sides, juices, and two entrees) usually ran between $30 – 40 with a nice tip.

There is a reason why people are standing in line to get in here! It is a very nice place to start your morning or grab a sandwich for lunch.

While the Macadamia pancakes a touted is the most amazing breakfast ever had, they do not outweigh the extremely long lines and how long it will be before you even get to your table. Great service, monster portions, but we felt that it was not worth waiting in line for. Nice to try once, would rather breakfast elsewhere. Very nice setting for whale watching though!
