Cafe O’Lei has fantastic food, reasonably priced, and is kid-friendly. I would strongly suggest that as a South Maui option.

It was a few years back, six, I believe. We were on Maui with 2 of our sons, our daughter-in-law, 1 1/2 year old grandson and our son’s, then friend since wed. We weren’t sure what to do for Thanksgiving and we had not been to a Luau on this visit. So, we decided to do something special and went to the Old Lahina Luau. As well as the usually wonderful Hawaiian sounds, Island dancing and Island food, they also served roast turkey, dressing and cranberries. Who knew we would be able to have the island experience as well as the traditional Thanksgiving meal. It’s worth a call to see if this is still available.
