Get the Tasty Details on Reviewing Maui Restaurants
It sounds like the dream job: eating at all the best Maui restaurants and writing about them for a guidebook. However, when you have to eat at ALL the restaurants and dine out an average of 11 times a week, it can turn into a belly ache.
James and I have invested over $107,000 of our own funds researching Maui restaurants in order to publish the tell-it-like-it-is review guide Top Maui Restaurants 2010 From Thrifty to Four Star.
We literally started this book with an email – which turned into a minimally formatted Word document – which grew into a PDF – until finally we gave in and published it as the paperback reference trusted by tens of thousands of Maui visitors and residents each year.
Want to know what it’s REALLY like to research, write and publish a dining guide? Come to our first Maui book event – complete with too-bad-for-print stories – at Barnes & Noble in Lahaina on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 6pm.
Of course, we’ll share our top picks for Maui’s best restaurants in all price categories. If you are a foodie and you’re on Maui, don’t miss it!
