Two Good Drinks on Maui
The other night we went to Amigo’s for a Cinco De Mayo meal. The spicy shrimp made James rock back and forth in his chair a little, whimpering with joy. So I ordered him a top shelf margarita to put him into full-body happiness.
(The margaritas at Amigo’s are crazy delicious. High quality tequila and fresh juice. They don’t offer you anything other than on-the-rocks, which is entirely appropriate.)
The next day we woke up early and headed into town for groceries. We stopped at Whole Foods, where we found my favorite energy drink, ever, BrainTonIQ. Created by a health nut, it has no sugar, is light on the tongue, and gives you a slow, sure, steady stream of energy that lasts for several hours, with no crash later. Excellent for those who tire out their brains with too much computer work or … writing of words.
