Lani Kai Molokini Snorkel Tour
We played tourist last week and went out on the Lani Kai for an afternoon Molokini Snorkel, which begged the question:
Why don’t we do this more often?
The crew on the Lani Kai is relaxed and professional, and they provide excellent (if basic) mai tais made with Maui Rum.
(I swear we don’t have mai tais everyday of the year. It just sounds that way if you read our blog.)
Bonus: the SNUBA instructor on our trip was, in the words of one of his giggly female students, “Soooooo cute.”
The afternoon trip was three hours, included all the equipment and food you could need, and was $44 for adults, and a perfect way to spend the afternoon. The day was absolutely perfect, and James got to slide into the water. We were home in time for dinner, and so relaxed that we didn’t go back to work after dinner (which happens far too often at our house).
Lani Kai sponsors Top Maui Restaurants, and we were reminded of why we invited them to do so – they are a well-run Maui business that provides excellent value and a good experience. No wonder we recommend them.
