We will be able to fly on both airlines on one ticket – which means we will also be able to earn miles on both airlines for those flights. Right now, we can connect through LAX to JetBlue flights to New York. And in June, when Hawaiian starts flying directly into JFK, we’ll be able to connect flights there, also.
For years Hawaii has focused on the West Coast in its marketing efforts. We’re glad to see that Hawaiian Airlines in particular is realizing that those who live in our old stomping grounds on the East Coast are just as interested in making the trip — especially when there’s that new “green tax” on European flights. Makes flying to Hawaii all the more attractive, no?
