Star Noodle Chef Heads to Season 10 of Top Chef
Congratulations are due to Chef Sheldon Simeon of Star Noodle in Lahaina: the new season of Bravo’s Top Chef was just announced, and he’s been competing in Seattle!
Of course, we’ll have to wait and watch to see if our Maui boy rises to the top of the heap, but we couldn’t be happier to see him get this national honor. And right on the heels of his two 2011 semifinalist noms for James Beard Awards, too. (Chef Simeon semifinaled in the “Rising Star” and “Best New Restaurant” categories.)
I’ve been craving his pork belly buns for a week now. Maybe it’s time for a trip back to the West Side.
