Tasting Menu at Hula Grill Benefits Maui Food Bank

Most island restaurants are running price promotions to lure in your dining dollars, but I particularly like the fact that Hula Grill is doing good for Maui, also.

TS Merriman's Hula Grill is a perennial Ka'anapali favorite. Take advantage of the $23.95 three course special 5-6pm, and they donate $1 to a local nonprofit.

According to the Lahaina News, if you order their Chef’s Tasting Menu (three courses, served from 5-6pm) $1 of the proceeds go to an island charity. Last quarter the Maui Food Bank received a check for $4,076, and the Maui Boy Scouts of America will benefit from the next three months.

You may not be into eating at 5pm, but if you’re in Ka’anapali and you’re hankering for a burger or a salad or their coconut shrimp, you may want to check out Peter Merriman’s beach baby. The tasting menu is only $23.95.
