Wine Tasting at Cafe Marc Aurel

Cafe Marc Aurel hosts their monthly wine tasting. July features South American wines.

Every month Cafe Marc Aurel hosts a wine tasting, and this month the theme is South America (mainly Chile and Argentina).

Taste Malbecs, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Torrontes are featured, and all are reportedly organically grown. $35 includes bread and cheese, plus a full glass of your favorite. Hosted by JMD Hawaii’s Alan Jahns. $10 of the ticket price goes to a local school, so you can do some local good while you’re sipping wine.

You won’t see a palm tree or a drop of saltwater, but you will definitely feel like you’re in a place that cares about food … our favorite little wine bar on Maui is eclectic, hip, and lined with bricks.
