My blueberry tart.
Nothing says summer to an east coaster like fresh blueberries. While perusing the produce section at Safeway the other day, I found blueberries on sale – 2 pints for $5.00. So what to do with all these blueberries other than enjoy them au natural or with ice-cold milk – or, in my case, almond milk. Blueberry tart, of course!
On what felt like the hottest day of the summer in my little Paia apartment, I turned the oven to 375° and turned to the recipe I’ve been eyeing in this month’s Real Simple magazine. Find the recipe by searching blueberry tart at www.realsimple.com. If I can bake it, so can you. As for tomorrow, I’m thinking blueberry pancakes for breakfast.
