Merry Christmas, dear reader! James and I are not on Maui this Christmas – we’re in Paris, eating lots of wonderful bread – so we can’t offer you firsthand advice about what to do … except …. of course we can, a little.

We send you many warm thoughts from Paris, where they know how to make incredible chocolat chaud and many other beautiful things. As much fun as this is, we’re already missing our lovely tropical home, and our two little white dogs, Kanga and Roo.

(Don’t worry, they are being taken care of around the clock by our fabulous pet sitter, MauiFriend (who also happens to be a great friend and realtor).
