Worst cheeseburger joint ever. Absolutely without any flavor, and for a “five napkin” burger to be this dry? Come on, Western Family cheapo frozen burgers are better than this.

By comparison, the drive through at Carls JR at Wailuku (near the marina and Maui Ocean Center) was absolutely heavenly.

I seriously can’t stress enough how much I think this place needs to be shut down and a real restaurant given the chance to occupy this great spot.

This is for the Wailea location. Very disappointed and we had low expectations to began with. The food was under cooked and seemed slapped together. The service was “forced” friendly or plastic. They seemed to have a get in and get out, who cares if you ever come back attitude. We will never be back to this restaurant or any of the sister restaurants.

We go to Maui every year and we have to go to Cheeseburger in Paradise. My kids insist that this is one restaurant we cannot miss. The food is ALWAYS great and we love to look at all the interesting art on the walls. We wish we had some of that back in California. The location is perfect – right on the water. Ask for a table on the window – it’s worth the wait. Order the unlimited drink glasses – well worth the price. We use the cups forever and it’s a nice reminder of our trip. Aloha!

Great location, nice clean fun place to have lunch or early dinner and watch the sunset. Go early!

we were not impressed with this venue at all. After hearing great things about Cheese Burgers in Paradise we found it to be an overpriced greasey spoon. The burgers arrived after quite a wait, and were very greasey. They appeared to be fried on a flat grill and were quite ordinary at best and were not prepared as requested.Ditto the french fries. The beer was not only warm but quite flat.Service is OK but nothing to rave about

We had friends tell us we had to go to Cheeseburgers in Paradise, but we were not impressed. While the restaurant is on the water and provided a lovely ocean view, the service and food were less than stellar. Simple hamburgers were overcooked and dry even though we asked to make them medium or less if they could. Thick french fries and hot beer made the whole experience less than desirable. As this was the place we picked the first night we arrived, it didn’t meet expectations.

I fell in love with this place on my first trip to Maui and it has been a must on every trip since. It is laid back and “Beachy” in the afternoon and fun in the evening with the live bands that play on the second floor.
