China Bowl
China Boat and its sister restaurant, China Bowl, serve mainstream Chinese dishes. While the food is definitely “Americanized” Chinese, it is generally cooked competently. If you are from a city with top notch Chinese, you may want to go for Thai, Vietnamese, or Japanese restaurants while on Maui. If you really enjoy Americanized Chinese or have a nostalgic craving for it (we do, sometimes), the daily specials generally offer some good choices at China Boat and China Bowl.

If you grew up in the 60’s and loved the Cantonese Chinese food, this place is golden. We ordered food in one day and then ate lunch another. Fried Rice and Chow Mein were very good. And they had a large variety of dishes. Prices were resonable.
