We ate here because it was highly rated in the book. Unfortunately, we weren’t all that impressed overall, and didn’t talk about going back again during our visit.
The service was very attentive (almost too much so at times) and the food was pretty good. But something about this one didn’t feel right to us. Especially the value received – the tab for two was quite pricey.
The whole atmosphere (hustle, bustle, and hassle) of Front Street just felt too touristy. We came to Maui to get away from it all, not be plopped down in the middle of it. If we ate here again, I’d request a “non-view” inside table.
