Mama’s Ribs & Rotisserie
Mama’s Ribs is a family-run joint that sells ribs, pulled pork, pot roast, and rotisserie chickens for takeout (there are a few tables, but the strip mall location is pretty barren for a meal). Ribs are slightly dry and not juicy enough for us in the Napili location, but better in Kihei. We like the tangy-sweetsour barbecue sauce. The pulled pork is similarly prepared, but the rotisserie chicken is tender and juicy. You can get a whole chicken for $15.99 and a half chicken for $9.99. If you don’t want to go to a supermarket for your chicken, this is a notch above it in quality, a couple of notches above in price. For sides, you can do the slaw or the macaroni salad or the cornbread and be pretty happy.

The rotisserie chicken here is amazing and the value is even better! The staff was very friendly. The inside seating area is small, but there are also some tables outside. There is not a lot of ambience as it is in a strip mall. But, it is the perfect place to get some take out and watch the sunset on the beach just down the street.
