Moose McGillycuddy’s – Kihei
The American classics at Moose’s (burgers, sandwiches, steaks, fish) are supplemented with Americanized ethnic foods (fajitas and pastas). The purpose of this restaurant is to feed you large portions of average food while plying you with average drinks and two-for-one coupons for breakfast (look in the tourist magazines) — but also to give you a killer view and fresh breezes in your hair. The Happy Hour specials, late night dining, and good breakfasts are definitely bonuses. Service, unfortunately, is inconsistent, but the second story locations make for expansive and pleasant views that take the sting out of waiting for your drink.
Moose’s is worth visiting if you’re in the mood for a bar scene and a drink special. We also like the breakfasts at both locations because the focus is on good food and big quantities (which is important at breakfast). This is where we take our less adventurous relatives when they come to visit, they love it.

Taco Tuesday is coming tomorrow and our kids are arriving Kihei this afternoon and have their two year old son with them. Can they bring their son upstairs with them to eat dinner. If so, I would assume they would have to seat in the back portion, true? Please clarify.
THANKS! We love joining our friends Pam & Carl there every time we come into town… Hopefully our kids will have a chance to meet them this time too.
